Business Profile

Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Our aim is to help people live life as independently as possible. Occupation Matters provides solutions to problems that restrict day to day living for people with a physical disability, illness, those who have had an accident or those who are ageing.
We offer alternative solutions for individuals challenged by managing everyday living tasks. We help people transfer, where possible, from Dependence to Independence and ultimately improve their quality of life.

We undertake a comprehensive clinical assessment of the person's level of function and areas of need and a relevant plan of action will be discussed such as alternative solutions, home adaptations, specialist equipment and assistive technologies. At Occupation Matters we assess all of the aspects which have a bearing on your quality of life, daily living and independence and take care to understand your particular aspirations and needs.
If rehabilitation is required we will put together a goal-oriented, comprehensive rehabilitation programme tailored for short and/or long term needs. We also have close links with local Physiotherapists and Social Workers and can work together as a team to meet the needs of the person where relevant.
Our Specialist Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation services are provided throughout the Northwest of England and North Wales; we are based in Chester, Cheshire.
