Welcome To Curzon Park
We are a small friendly run home offering Residential and Residential EMI care for persons over 65 years of age, specialising in varies Dementia and Alzheimer s Disease. The home comprises of 22 single bedrooms (8 being en-suite) and one double bedroom. We have 3 communal lounges, a dining room and smoke room. Toilet and bathing facilities are available on both floors. Extensive parking is available to the front and 2 courtyard type gardens are available either side of the property.
Curzon Park is fully equipped with fire prevention equipment and is regularly maintained by a specialist fire prevention company. Every week a fire test is undertaken to ensure the system is fully operational. All staff are trained in fire procedures twice a year and undertake fire drills. We are committed to providing a quality service and look to meet the individuals needs by taking comprehensive information at initial assessement and follow up with a 'Getting to Know You' pack. We look to continiously improve our service by consulting the residents and their families annually by way of Satisfaction Surveys.
Our Services Our aims and objectives are to provide 24 hour Residential or Residential EMI care for 24 persons who are elderly (over 65 years) of either gender on a long term basis. However we do accept residents who want to stay for short respite periods and emergency respite care if the accommodation is available. Here at Curzon Park we specialise in varies dementias' and Alzheimers disease. This is provided for in a secure, friendly, safe, homely, caring environment whereby residents can continue to maintain their legal and civil rights of individualism, freedom of choice, independence, dignity, respect and privacy without ridicule or judgemental attitudes from the care team (or others) whos primary function is to help them acheive what is rightfully theirs. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of care focusing on a 'person centre care' model. It is also our aim to provide a safe and friendly working environment for staff with a focus on training and personally developing their careers'. If residents reside in the local area, they are encouraged to continue with their own GP if they move out of area we usually transfer to a local practice. Vision Call optician currently deliver optical services within the home, the service includes eye tests and supply of glasses (NHS and private). The Dentist and Chiropodists service within Cheshire is limited, access to a private services is available as required. Hairdresser is available weekly. Small amounts of personal allowance is kept safely for residents for the above services if required.
Catering For All Residents Meals are freshly prepared daily, with most ingredients being sourced locally i.e butcher/ fruit and veg by our dedicated cooks who will ensure that the meals offered are varied, nutritious and well presented. We have developed and work to a 4 week menu offering two choices at both dinner and tea time. Special diets are catered for and advice sought from a Dietician where necessary. Alcohol is offered on special occasions with prior permission from families.
